I sit here and wonder what went wrong with my life. Today J & K came over to visit the kids. I talked to K on Wednesday and she expressed concern that the only way they could  see the kids was if we picked them up. That is 100 miles round trip. Ok, fine! I called J last night to make sure he still wanted his dad to pick them up. He said yes and asked what time. I told him around 10 am. He called this morning and said that they had lost power during the night and the house was cold. He wanted to take a shower and have his dad pick them up an hour later.

They arrived about 1pm. smoked a cigarette outside then came in. I went downstairs and specifically told them that the kids had lunch and would not be able to have a snack until 3:00. I also stressed that they had already had juice for the day. I repeated this and explained that, yes, it is 100% juice and healthy but it also contains a lot of sugar. N1 had 6 cavities when I took him to the dentist two weeks ago. I then retreated to my "happy place" so that they could parent their kids.

At 3:30 they announced that they had to go because K had a bladder infection and she need to go get something for it (on a Sunday???)  I went and put G down for a nap and the boys went to a friends house. Later when I was getting dinner, I opened the refrigerator to get the milk and noticed the bottle of juice was missing. I asked and the boys said that mom had given it to them! WTF!!! Do I have to lock everything up.  Over Christmas I let them spend the weekend here with the kids. They left on Monday and my bottle of Xanax was missing. They denied taking it. They are drug addicts, I am suppose to believe them. I now keep my medication locked up and hidden. They also grabbed some food and garbage bags.

I don't want to be raising these kids. I love them dearly but at 54 I want to take it easy and enjoy the quiet. I have been raising kids for 37 years without a break. I want me time.

I am just writing this to let some steam out. I may come back and explain what is going on.
